  sdGH is often asked it accepts applications for membership. Unfortunately, its team is not currently but they heartily promote and refer the curious and experienced to organizations that provide quality education and experience. sdGH is pleased to recommend the following public meet-up group spearheaded by Dave Hanson, an excellent investigator with whom sdGH has had the pleasure to work on many occasions. The San Diego Ghost and Paranormal Group The largest of its kind in San Diego County, The San Diego Ghost and Paranormal Group is a diverse group of people who have a special interest in ghosts and the paranormal. They meet twice a month (one weeknight and one Sunday afternoon) to share information and experiences. It is an excellent organization in which to learn more about the subject and hear different viewpoints from a wide mix of people. In addition to monthly discussions, the group also promotes paranormal research, conducts ghost hunting seminars, and organizes investigations of known haunted sites.  Membership is open to everyone, though only those who regularly attend group discussion meetings are allowed to participate in investigations. In order to be a memeber of SDGAP, you need to join Meetup.com (it’s free and easy to sign-up). There is a minimal attendance fee of $1 or $2 for each SDGAP event and they often offer guest speakers. Past guests have included members of sdGH and authors of books about the paranormal.It is a friendly group that treats each other (and the spirits) with respect, even though views on the paranormal may differ -- but that's what makes the subject so interesting, right? The group seeks to learn more about the world "on the other side" - what has occurred in the past, and what is present today.
