Team founder, Maritiza, paid a visit to the very famous prison known as The Rock on July 4, 2002. From the mid 1930's to the mid 1960's, Alcatraz was one of the world's most infamous active maximum-security prisons. As the final stop for the nation's worst inmates, many colorful individuals that made their mark on our history such as Robert F. Stroud (Birdman of Alcatraz), Al Capone, George "Machine Gun" Kelly, Roy Gardner, Alvin Francis "Creepy Karpis" Karpowicz. The prison took on a life of its own through becoming a living legend through radio dramas, movies and television attention.

Today, Alcatraz is a prominent landmark that's open to the public. It allows brave visitors to step back in time to envision, hear and feel what it was like to be held on The Rock as one of America's most notorious.
